Job Summary
Full time, seasonal, first part of June until mid-September at girls' s overnight sports camp. Assist with meal preparation and service under the direction of the Head Chef.
Pay based on 7 hours per day for six days a week. One day off per week. Room and board provided.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with meal preparation and service under the direction of the Head Chef. Assist with barbecue cook outs and set up. Excellent knife skills, knowledge of homemade soups, sauces and ability to cook wholesome meals from scratch. Experience cooking for larger numbers preferred (i.e. approx. 100 meals three times daily.) Ability to accommodate special diets lactose or gluten free, vegetarian. Strong work ethic, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team an asset.
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent knife skills, knowledge of homemade soups, sauces and ability to cook wholesome meals from scratch. Experience cooking for larger numbers preferred. Certified in safe food handling
