Onocon Property Management Ltd. is seeking Full-time Contract Landscape Labourers to join the team.

Contract Landscape Labourer

Contract Period:
April 15, 2024 to November 15, 2024

Hourly Rate:
$17.50 to $21.50 (Hourly Rate will match with experience)

• Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns
• Weeding and mulching landscape beds
• Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs
• Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees
• Planting shrubs, flower, and tress
• Monitor and maintain plant health
• Maintain landscape areas, clear and free of debris
• Operate & maintain mowers, tractors, clippers, and other landscape equipment.

Work Conditions

• Work is performed primarily outdoors
• Weather conditions are typically dry
• Temperature conditions are usually late Spring temps, Summer temps, and early Fall temps
• Employee will be exposed to and working near moving mechanical parts and equipment
• Constant and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided by the Company (i.e. Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Safety Glasses & Gloves)
• Able to lift 30 to 40 Ibs and meet the physical demands of the job.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
• Effective time management and multitasking skills
• Experience with towing landscape trailers
• Oblige to the Health & Safety rules and regulations
• Comfortable working with a team and individually
• Reliable, punctual, & hardworking
• Strong verbal skills
• Must be highly productive
• WHMIS (mandatory)
• Standard First Aid (preferred).

Salary:
$17.00-$21.50 per hour
