About Briton House:

At The Briton House we have created a remarkable and historic retirement centre. The Briton House has had the tradition of caring for people since 1976.

We offer a wide variety of activities, large suites and the ability to enjoy a magnificent indoor garden all year round.

Our facility also includes a splendid recital hall, a glass domed swimming pool, an exercise area and an attractive dining lounge.

In addition to offering care services in our independent living suites we also have three assisted living floors.

These features, together with our experienced and sensitive staff, help us to enhance the lives of many seniors, and enable us to uphold our tradition of warmly caring for our residents.

Requirements:


  • Previous Professional Experience as a Receptionist
  • Experience working with Seniors
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Calm and efficient under pressure
  • Multitasking abilities
  • Friendly and Courteous
  • Be fit for sitting long periods and/or minor lifting

Duties:


  • Answer, screen and transfer calls in a clear and polite manner.
  • Greet and direct visitors, prospective clients, and/or their families.
  • Respond to residents and families inquiries/ issues and direct appropriately.
  • Respond to emergency calls or events and handle/direct appropriately.
  • Monitor computer screens and underground security entrance.
  • Accept and monitor all deliveries and parcels, log in appropriate binders.
  • Accept envelopes, cheques, and letters to be picked up or distributed for staff, families or residents.
  • Manage transportation requests for residents and families.
  • Record resident information in appropriate binders; residents out/in, LOA, vacation or hospital.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday (3PM to 11PM)

Other days might be required to cover shifts.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
$18.87-$19.07 per hour
