Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Observe the equipment's predictive and preventive maintenance schedule. Pay attention to other possible concerns while working and communicate to prevent needless downtime and/or possible threats to safety.
  • Review and complete work order requests as directed by the maintenance manager.
  • Determine the priority of emergency maintenance requests.
  • Completing the maintenance duties requires adhering to all applicable work instructions.
  • Immediately bring up any equipment safety issues with the maintenance manager.
  • Finish and sign repair orders and update records after maintenance tasks in Plex are complete.
  • Conduct as necessary daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of facility and plant equipment and keep records of these inspections.
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the company's continuing demands.
  • Order replacement components and get estimates for supplies and repair parts.

Expectations:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum five years' experience in a Maintenance role.
  • Direct experience in processes: stamping presses, molding, tapping and welding facility is required.
  • Should have the ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of English language (oral and written).
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work required.

Certifications:
Millwright or Electrical certificate of qualification is an asset
**Term: Full time - permanent.
