Job Opportunity: Golf Course Turf Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Jr. Assistant Superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in golf course turf management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of turf management practices, including daily maintenance operations, equipment operation, and staff supervision. They will work closely with the Assistant Superintendents to ensure consistent tournament conditions throughout the season.

• Manage turf health through proper mowing, watering, fertilization, and pest control techniques;
• Assist with agronomic programs and requirements;
• Maintain accurate records of activities performed on each day;

Pursuing or completed relevant post-secondary education in Horticulture or related field;
turfgrass science background preferred.
An Ontario Landscape Exterminators license as well as IPM certification advantageous.;
good communication skills necessary;
Prior knowledge/experience using computer applications beneficial
