The Team Lead is accountable to and works under the direction of the Manager for Child and Adolescent services.
Working with the Manager, the Team Lead provides program leadership by participating in the planning, development and provision of services, fostering healthy team communications, and coordination of program and team functions while supporting a culture of continuous quality improvement and safety.
As an experienced member of the Mental Health and Addictions team, the team leader demonstrates effective organizational, leadership and communication skills.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling (With a Clinical Undergraduate Degree) or Occupational Therapy
- Licensed with applicable body (NSCSW, NSBEP or NSCOT)
- Five (5) years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention
- Provides evidencebased therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients
- Ensures all clinical staff provide effective and evidencebased treatment modalities
- Identifies areas for service improvement and facilitates and evaluates quality initiatives
- Drafts Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials and others guidelines for care
- Provides leadership to the team in the areas of clientcentered decision making, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution
- Facilitates internal referrals
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Temporary fulltime (100%) position; 75 hours biweekly.
- Approximately 12 months
Compensation and Incentives:
$44.37- $51.73 hourly
