    We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist in Toronto, Canada.

    This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week of in-office work.

    Must Haves

    • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft-specific software development.
    • 7+ years of experience in Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) software development.
    • Experience in creating both Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD).
    • Experience with Oracle and Microsoft interfaces.
    • Expertise in ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Azure Databricks, Python, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, ADF pipelines, SQL Server, and Oracle.
    • Ability to present technical requirements to the business.
    • Nice to have: Oracle Golden Gate.

    Evaluation Criteria

    Data Design and Development (25 points)

    7+ years of experience in Microsoft-specific software development and proven experience in developing in Azure DevOps.

    Experience in application mapping to populate data vault and dimensional data mart schemas.

    ETL Experience (25 points)

    7+ years of experience in Extract, Transform & Load and Extract, Load and Transforms software development.

    Experience in providing ongoing support on Azure pipeline / configuration and SSIS development.

    Building data ingesting and change data capture using Golden Gate.

    Design Documentation and Analysis Skills (20 points)

    Experience in creating both Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD).

    Fit-Gap analysis, system use case reviews, requirements reviews, coding exercises, and reviews.

    Development and maintaining a plan to address contract deliverables.

    Database Related (20 points)

    Experience with Oracle and Microsoft interfaces.

    Proficient in SQL and Azure DevOps.

    Implementing logical and physical data models.

    Knowledge Transfer (10 points)

    Previous work experience in conducting Knowledge Transfer and training sessions.

    Ensuring resources receive the required knowledge to support the system.
