Description

As an essential, often first contact between clients and our staff, the Administrative Assistant is expected to greet our clients with a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor.

The individual will perform standard receptionist duties in an organized and detail oriented capacity.


Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors to the office and introducing them to the appropriate staff
  • Answering a multiline telephone system and directing calls as needed
  • Booking and confirming appointments
  • Pulling files used for daily appointments and filing away when finished
  • Entering client data, collecting payments and issuing receipts
  • Performing general office duties and providing administrative support to staff
  • Overseeing the general appearance of the office, as well as keeping supplies well stocked.

Position requirements:
- post-secondary education in business administration is considered an asset

  • 1 to 2 years experience in a reception role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A professional customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Available to work Monday to Friday; Saturday shifts may be required based on office needs

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary, Permanent


Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
