Position Summary

Oversee the daytoday accounting operations of Eagle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end financial reporting, including determining and recording; required journal entries.
Preparation of year end working paper files and liaise with external accounting professionals for all entities.
Continually review processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency, making changes where necessary, ensuring integrity of operational data and systems.
Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place for the organization.
Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and other senior leaders to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.
Coach/develop/mentor/support team members.
Expert at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
Contribute to treasury and banking functions as required, including monthly and quarterly reporting.
Monthly and quarterly tax filings and remittances.
Lead and develop a team of accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Continually expand your knowledge of the entire operations of Eagle.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

CPA designation with a minimum of 3 years' post designation public practice experience and a strong understanding of GAAP and ASPE.
Strong leadership skills, able to effect positive change through coaching and engagement activities.
Proficient with MS Office Suite along with experience in or the willingness to learn industry specific programs and investigate, recommend, and implement software efficiencies.
Improvement oriented and focused on identifying business efficiencies.
Detail focused and strong ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
Meet tight deadlines while ensuring work is accurate and correct.
A valid class 5 license and acceptable abstract.
Willing to work in a fastpaced environment.
