The Opportunity
Join Manulife / John Hancock's Identity & Access Management global team and help protect our company and customer's information.
Join our team to execute our 5-year IAM roadmap to provide global protections and automation to Manulife, on track to be the most digital, customer-centric global company in the industry.
Our team acts on behalf of Global Cyber Security Identity & Access Governance Services to provide an effective and efficient intake and Business Analyst Services centered around SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and CyberArk platforms for access controls and ever-expanding capabilities and coverage.
Work arrangement:
Hybrid model - 3 days in office and 2 days from Home
Work location:
Either Toronto-Canada or Boston-USA office based on Work authorization eligibility

Responsibilities

Elicit and model business requirements/user stories: using appropriate analysis techniques, understand and describe the business needs in a structure and level of detail that is usable by the respective stakeholders.

Deliver through Agile methodologies: through experience working with Agile tools (e.g. JIRA), participate in Dashboard planning, backlog grooming, and work with product owners for prioritization.

Conduct business process re-engineering: using appropriate analysis techniques, understand and describe the as-is and to-be processes whilst analyzing the impact on people, processes, and systems.

Define business solution options: identify, explore and describe the solution (not architectural or technical) options that would achieve the business need.

Focus on the customers: determine all requirements, solution designs and business value assessments from a customer perspective.

Focus on quality: ensure all outputs are of a high quality and consistency, presented through the defined templates, models and frameworks of the team.

Facilitate transition and change: assist in the identification of the transition journey from current to target state, and the change management activities/focus areas to enable successful adoption of solutions.

Work collaboratively: multi-cultural, multi-location teams, and cross-functional working with teams from other business areas.

Identify new ways of working ; new methods, tools or approaches for business analysis and suggest implementing best practices applicable to the situation.

Enhance team maturity: drive consistency and standardization in all work and outputs and increase the team brand and act as an ambassador for Global Cyber Security

We are looking for someone with:
- A degree, or equivalent, in
Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or related experience**:
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in IT business analysis preferably in Financial Services, ideally within the Identity & Access Management space:
Technical Analyst experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory
and/or IT asset management is highly preferred:- Practical experience in both
Agil e
and Waterfall
delivery approaches is required: - Excellent
