We're looking for a Senior Credit Risk Reporting Analyst to join our Credit Risk team. The ideal candidate has a passion for data analytics and process improvement. They are comfortable digging into complex scenarios and developing robust recommendations based on their analysis.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to help build out credit risk processes and procedures and have a meaningful impact at a Saskatchewan-born co-operative financial institution.
The Senior Credit Risk Reporting Analyst will play a key role in enhancing strategies and managing Affinity's overall credit risk within our loan portfolio.
What you'll do:
Lead, conduct and contribute to accurate and timely reporting for credit risk and evaluate alternative data methods and new solutions to optimize credit strategy.
Acts as a subject matter expert on credit key risk indicators, effectively communicating risk assessment results to a variety of leadership levels.
Conduct research, risk analysis, and provide recommendations for procedure enhancements.Enhance tools and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risk.
Spearhead innovative strategies to detect, investigate, and mitigate diverse risk scenarios, ensuring proactive reporting to prevent potential credit risk losses.
Validate and maintain risk rating and underwriting models.What you'll get:

What you've got:
A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced knowledge in credit risk in consumer, agricultural, commercial and credit card lending
In-depth knowledge of risk oversight, as well as research and environmental trend scanning, and risk models
Advanced Excel proficiency
Experience leading research to create and implement innovative processes
Working knowledge of risk models including Probability of Default and Loss Given Default
