Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant Internship (Summer) - Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Summary:

Key responsibilities include developing testing protocols, performing validation tests for software releases, and creation of automated test scripts.

Note:
This is a
Summer Internship - starting in
May 2024 for 4 months.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in creating / updating testing protocols to validate new ultrasound imaging techniques and features.
Assist in validation and verification activities for the imaging and analysis software.
Assist in the creation of automated test scripts.
Work effectively in collaboration with staff across the organization.

Knowledge and Experience:

Inprocess of completing, or just completed, a postsecondary degree in engineering (electrical/biomedical), computer science, physics or a related discipline would be desirable.
Familiarity with programming design and algorithm.
Familiarity with signal processing is an asset.
Familiarity with ultrasound systems, transducers or medical devices an asset.

Skills:

Inprocess of completing, or just completed, a postsecondary degree in engineering.
Familiarity with ultrasound systems, transducers, or medical devices an asset.
Familiarity with C# is an asset.
