Tandia Financial Credit Union (Tandia) is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Financial Services Associate to join our contact center team located in our Administration Centre at 1295 Cormorant Road in Ancaster.

This is a full-time role and work hours are day shifts Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.

On any given day, our contact center in Ancaster fields upwards of 150+ calls.

This tells us that our members like connecting with a real person in their community who can help them with their unique financial needs.

Your Work at a Glance
You will provide day to day banking assistance as well as respond to member inquiries. You will do this by understanding members needs and recommending solutions to help them reach their goals.

With your financial services knowledge, you will effectively up-sell and cross-sell Tandia's investment options.

For more comprehensive financial planning needs, you'll be able to spot the opportunity and refer the member to one of our skilled advisors or members of our Wealth Management team.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has completed a degree / diploma in the field of business or commerce
  • or has equivalent work experience
  • Has a minimum of 1 year work experience in a service and selling role in a financial institution. Previous client/customerfacing/Credit Union experience is an asset.
  • Is enthusiastic and an excellent communicator
  • Is highly organized and has the ability to multitask
  • Has a strong technical acumen and ability to learn systems and tools quickly
  • Is proactive, going the extra mile to support our members
  • Is a team player, always willing to jump in and help other team members
Our contact centre is open 6 days a week (Mon-Sat) for our members. Flexibility to work any of our operating hours is required.
