This is accomplished across four management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centers and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and community based programs and services, including mental health and addictions, primary health care, public health, and continuing care.


Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the day to day operations of the Environmental Services, Laundry Services, Security and Porter Services for NSHA as well as ensuring a clean, safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors.

The Assistant Manager collaborates with Manager in the planning and development of standardized practices and initiatives to ensure they are operationalized


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • At least two years supervisory experience is required; experience within a health care setting is preferred.
  • Experience working within a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Shift work may be required.
  • Travel to other sites is required and must have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent, fulltime position; 75 hours biweekly
  • Shifts are 3:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.; Monday to Friday, must have flexibility in hours when necessary, includes weekend and holidays

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $36.11 Hourly
