We are currently looking for a
Casual Care Aide, who reports to the Clinical Care Coordinator and/or designate.

Responsibilities

Provides personal care to residents.
Assists with transfers and mobilization of resident.
Performs nursing procedures.
Records observations and reports any change/problems in resident's condition.
Assists residents with meals.
Reports malfunctioning equipment and safety hazards to Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Sets up charts for new residents and charts information procedures.
Provides verbal and written information on the activity of daily living [ADL] of each resident for the Resident's Care Plan.
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide program which includes a Dementia Care component
Valid BC Care Aide Registration
A Clear Criminal Record Check
Valid Food Safe level

COVID-19 considerations:

Single Site Order (the "SSO"), which restricts health care workers to working in only one licensed long-term care, registered assisted living, stand alone extended care hospital, private hospital and provincial mental health facility.
