    In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a champion for our employees and play a key role in shaping our future.

    You will be a strategic and forward-thinking P&C leader with the ability to build and foster positive and productive work cultures.

    You'll be passionate about employee experience and have a strong understanding of how to use P&C practices to drive business success.

    We are looking for you to bring to the role:

    A background working in People Operations/Human Resources
    Ability to give consultative support to Senior Leadership and directly to employees around key lifecycle segments (onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence and offboarding)
    Background working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee experience through process improvements, automation, data and insights
    Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels, functions, and geographies
    Ability to analyse and communicate complex concepts, understand trends, and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis
    Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
    What will you be doing?

    As the People and Culture Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture and driving our people-related strategies.

    You will be responsible for establishing and implementing Group P&C policies and programs that support our business objectives and promote employee engagement, retention, and development.


    Reporting directly to the President at Stride, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment between HR requirements, P&C initiatives and business goals.

    You will be the first point of contact, providing direct P&C operational support.


    As well as:
    Proactively support all aspects of the employee life cycle including onboarding, contracts of employment, payroll and benefit administration, employee query resolution and offboarding;
    Work strategically with people leaders to develop, coach and recover performance, ensuring alignment with business needs and direction;
    Give sound employment relations advice to people leaders and manage disciplinary processes;
    Support the ongoing development and implementation of people policies and guide people-related policies and procedures;
    Maintain and update employee data accurately on internal HR Systems and databases including reporting on people metrics;
    Support ongoing organizational design efforts to ensure our structure supports our growth and efficiency goals.
    Work closely with P&C Leads to support the delivery of P&C initiatives and processes including recruitment, employee experience and talent management;
    Be the culture guardian and deliver a workplace experience to the regional team through coordinating community events like DI, well-being, social and belonging;
    Support and influence change management with cross-functional stakeholders;
    Improve processes that unify hybrid work teams, that can scale horizontally as we expand internationally

    Salary:
    $90,000 - $110,000 CAD p/a
