    We are seeking a highly motivated individual Junior Project Manager to oversee, track and document all activities related the Skills Development Fund (SDF) project. The successful candidate can look forward to an exciting opportunity to establish and improve their Project Management skills. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of SDF-funded projects.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings with key stakeholders to discuss project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with SDF guidelines and company objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, providing timely updates to the project team.
  • Documentation Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to SDF-funded projects, including project plans, budgets, contracts, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SDF reporting requirements and deadlines, preparing and submitting required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain project files and records, both electronically and physically, to facilitate easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Financial Tracking:

  • Assist in tracking project expenses and ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
  • Work closely with the finance department to reconcile project expenditures, prepare financial reports, and forecast future funding needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in SDF-funded projects, addressing inquiries and providing updates as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with SDF representatives, government agencies, training providers, and other partners to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
  • Reporting and Evaluation:

  • Support the preparation of regular progress reports and presentations for management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in conducting evaluations and assessments of SDF-funded initiatives, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to inform future planning and decision-making.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience if in possession of a PMP designation or experience with project coordination or management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, etc., is a plus.
