Hall Constructors as a Safety Coordinator / Operator**This position is based in Bamberton BC, 30 minutes outside of Victoria BC, at the Coast Mountain Resources quarry.

Your day-to-day will look like:

On-Site safety meeting at 7:00am
10hour work shift
Participate in any safety work plan reviews to ensure all safety best practices are in place
Be able to operate equipment and be a part time safety advisor onsite to ensure crew safety during daily operations
Be able to respond to a potential safety incident and administer Level 3 First Aid
Maintain housekeeping and pretrip inspections on the equipment assigned to you

You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:

Qualifications_:
Level 3 First Aid Ticket
Safety Administration Experience
5 or more years of experience operating mobile equipment
Class 1 BC license with clean drivers abstract
Aggregate industry experience (mine, quarry, etc.)
Technical Skills:_
You have a clear understanding of the WorkSafeBC Occupational Regulations, Mines Act, and WCA.
You have a solid working knowledge on completing hazard assessments, orientations, inspections, and onsite training.
You are able to develop safe job procedures, safe work practices and policies.
You are proficient on a computer and tablet and are able to navigate a paperless safety program.
You are comfortable working in a field setting.
NCSO or greater is desired. OFA 2 or greater is an asset.
Experience reviewing and writing safety work plans
Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites.
Proven ability to operate machinery safely while achieving operational targets
