- Duties include but not limited to personal care, accurate assessment & proper documentation, wound care and management, proper lifts and transfers, medication administration and monitoring, and emotional support and facilitation of community inclusion activities.
- Skills in care of individuals with specific health needs eg.Cerebral Palsy, mobility impairments, cognitive deficits, major mental illness, seizure disorders and profound developmental delays an asset
- Homecare nursing skills involve, but not limited to Diabetes management, dialysis, IV medication, Palliative care, phlebotomy and wound care
- Currently Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
