A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for our High Voltage Test Labs operation, including manage resources, optimize test capacity by implementing testing standards policies and EHS guidelines, for Trench Canada Instrument Transformers business.

How You'll Make an Impact

You will lead, motivate, and develop test lab supervisors and test lab operators in a unionized production facility.
You will be responsible for the engineering and technical operations in the High Voltage test labs.
You will plan and allocate resources for daily operation, allocate budgets to projects and activities around test field and testing equipment, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
You will develop the integration to the testing standards, testing theory and procedures.
You will oversee testing activities according to established quality guidelines and Environment, Health and Safety requirements

What You Bring

Ability to interpret specifications and test results, and to make judgments about the acceptability of production of HV Instrument Transformers.
Good knowledge on safety standards regarding HV products, testing processes and equipments. PEng certification/credential is a very valued asset.
Over 5 years management experience in manufacturing environment.
Good command on process improvement and quality management tools, such as FMEA, 5Why, DMAIC.
