Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare pizza dough from scratch
  • Schedule and coordinate cooking pizza orders
  • Monitor food stock levels and prepare ingredients as required
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory and recordkeeping
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized
  • Follow recipes and presentations accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team
  • Attend training sessions, seminars, and workshops as required
  • Other tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a pizza cook, preferably in a similar pizzeria environment or Italian restaurant
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in preparing Neapolitanstyle pizza
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detailedoriented with strong focus on food quality and presentation
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred, but not required
  • Food Safety Certification preferred, but not required

Salary:

Salary may vary depending on experience, location and other factors.
