    Job Overview


    Reports to: Senior EHS Specialist

    Location: Sparwood, BC

    Shift: 5x2: Monday to Friday

    Term: 4 Months: May- August

    Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Collecting and entering data from documents (hard copes) into the corporate EHS software/database
    • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
    • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, maintaining accurate records and correcting any incompatibilities before data is entered
    • Become familiar with the corporate EHS software/database

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
    • Students in a Construction Safety Officer program or Occupational Health and Safety program preferred
    • Familiarity with administrative duties/data entry
    • Excellent knowledge of computers; correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
    • Attention to detail
    • Confidentiality
    • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
