- Lead the S&OP process and ensure alignment with the Master Production Schedule.
- Develop and maintain build plans which balance customer demand, material availability, along with capacity constraints.
- Communicate risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership regarding build and shipment plans.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to reduce lead times, optimize inventory levels, and improve schedule adherence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and schedulers, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- Set clear goals aligned with business priorities and provide regular feedback and career development support.
- Facilitate team meetings, performance reviews, and recognition initiatives to drive engagement and accountability.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members in partnership with HR and Operations.
- Resolve material and capacity constraints by coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely release of production orders and monitor progress against schedules.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain planning documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with department leads to allocate resources effectively.
- Anticipate capacity constraints and propose solutions.
- Create and analyze resource capacity charts.
- Create and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Provide delivery commitments and manage changes to customer orders.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability and support expedited requests.
- Generate reports to support decision‑making and stakeholder communication.

- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling; leadership experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in MPS/MRP systems; APICS certification is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel; Power BI experience is an asset.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage competing priorities.
