Our client, a transportation & logistics company located in the South, is currently looking for a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Required skills and qualifications:
Previous cross-dock experience considered a strong asset
Must have previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
Safety Conscious
Ability to work independently/in a team
Must have own vehicle (no bus available for shift start time)
Must be willing to work early morning shift (5:00am to 1:30pm)
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Loading and unloading freight to and from trailers with an electric jigger, manual pallet jack and counterbalance forklift
Receiving and shipping parcels
Sorting parcels / packages by postal codes
Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse
Conducting pre and post use inspections on forklift and other equipment
Working safely and efficiently at all times
Other duties as assigned
The starting wage for this position starts at $20.50 per hour.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday - 5:00am to 1:30pm
