- Evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Implement process improvements using tools like PFMEA and Risk Registers.
- Study product requirements to develop new manufacturing methods and equipment specifications. Collaborate with vendors to select suitable equipment for production lines.
- Analyze workflow, provide assembly instructions, determine space requirements, and optimize equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Create detailed technical reports on manufacturing progress including cost estimates labor costs material usage work schedules etc (ideally 7-10 pages long).
- Briefly assist department staff where necessary.
