_Technical Service Representative (On-site dedicated and/or on the road)_
- Workplaces: Quebec Region_
The incumbent is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, modifications, installations, and equipment removal within a specified geographic area or on a dedicated site.
The individual will have developed and acquired the necessary skills in product knowledge, problem-solving, and customer management skills through successful completion of formal training programs, both in classroom and on-the-job, enabling them to meet expected service levels.
The products initially supported will include the monochrome and color Production product suite with accompanying software suites.Primary Responsibilities:
- Resolve service issues within the assigned Production product range
- Complete required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to team and product call processes
- Adhere to product escalation process
- Plan and install mandatory and optional upgrades
- Manage and maintain inventories of both vehicle and dedicated client assets
- Communicate effectively with Xerox customers and employees
- Successfully complete required Xerox training programs
- Demonstrate proper upkeep and maintenance of Xerox properties
- Represent Xerox professionally to clients
- Work and communicate effectively within a large workgroup
Qualifications:
- Canadian citizenship
- Mandatory spoken language: French and ability to read in English
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Skills in mechanical, computer, and electronic repair
- Previous technical competence with Xerox products (an asset)
- Ability to work without supervision and autonomously
- Ability to work in a team
- Successfully pass security and criminal background checks
- Proficiency with various Windows operating system software
- Proficiency with various Microsoft Office products
- Basic network connectivity skills and troubleshooting
- Detailed knowledge of the xerographic process, color printing theory, and various printing technologies currently available on the market.
- Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering results
- Minimum ability to handle multiple tasks
- Minimum ability to use and manage multiple online tools and resources.
Job conditions:
- Permanent, Fulltime at 37.5hrs per week
- Salary offered: Depending on experience and competency
