About This Role

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:


  • Leads endtoend planning and integration of changes into IT service lifecycle for product group.
  • Contributes to and executes release strategy.
  • Establishes and leads release gating processes and reporting.
  • Identifies and manages release risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensures that all component relationships of an IT service are considered when the service is changed.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize releases based on highest business impact areas while aligning to Journey and Platform roadmaps.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify, track and resolve dependencies that are impacting endtoend delivery.
  • Partners with RTEs/Leads to ensure app changes are planned, scheduled and managed across lower environments with mínimal collisions and conflicts.
  • Partners with AREs to ensure infrastructure is available to support all release activities.
  • Coordinates with thirdparty vendors to support coordination of vendor releases.
  • Collaborate with TS, ITS, Vendors and External Teams to complete the System Implementation Plan (SIP) and Master Event Schedule (MES) for PAT and PROD deployments.
  • Supports collision analysis and dependency management for Deployments.
  • Acts as single point of contact for all matters related to release planning, scheduling, and governance at POD and Product Group levels.
  • Ensures integrity and efficiency of deployment activities into the PAT and PROD environments
  • Provide timely and detailed status updates on the deployment activities in PAT and PROD as they progress(including different levels of management as required).
  • Assist in escalating issues that are impacting deployment activities.

It helps if you have:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the business, technology standards, managing people and projects.
  • Advanced understanding of businesses and/or organizational practices/ disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of external competition, and/or market trends.
  • Readiness and motivation to manage a sizeable group or team of IT professionals (e.g. <25) responsible for development/solutions design and/or system enhancements, new releases or project deliverables with increasing complexity of moderate to broad scope.
  • Proven success in problem solving and coming up with strategies and plans for operational improvement.
