Position Title:
Student - Store Design Coordinator (4-Month Term)


Team and Location:
Marketing and Customer Insights - Calgary, AB


Position Summary:


The Store Design Coordinator Summer Student will be working along the Marketing and Customer Insight function, providing exceptional support to the Brand Standards lead for the 4-month term.

As a member of the Marketing and Customer Insight team, you will assist with the day-to-day activities that include ensuring ON the RUN and Marché Express locations across Parkland's network are brand compliant and offering the best customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review floor plan and design elements proposed by the construction team for each site targeted by renovation and ensure brand compliance.
  • Develop creative solutions to adapt brand standards to each store environment.
  • Assist with the catalogue of approved floor plan and final design plan for each location for future reference.
  • Update brand guides & tollkits with the latest approved standards.
  • Research fixtures, furniture, and equipment to be aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • You are available for a 4month term beginning on or around May of 202
  • You are currently enrolled at a Canadian postsecondary institution in an Interior Design, Architecture, Fashion, or any related discipline.
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and possess natural leadership as demonstrated in academic and/or extracurricular activities.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment; bilingual in French and English is required.
  • You are a creative and analytical thinker with some project management skills who is selfdriven and capable of working in a fastpaced environment.
  • You have tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit and are passionate about seeking out winwin solutions.
  • You have strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • You will be part of a global team and must be able to work effectively through a high degree of collaboration and communication through inperson meetings and video conferences.
