    Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

    This role provides leadership and direction to the Maintenance department and its staff members. This is a three-shift rotation position with a two week rotation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Manager by overseeing the Maintenance Department (all trades) on his/her shift;
    • Provide a PM schedule that ensures machine robustness along with the coordination of production schedule needs;
    • Coverage for other supervisor absences;
    • Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime;
    • Analyze machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems;
    • Ensure production/maintenance area meets or exceeds labor standards;
    • Ensure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime;
    • Maintain maintenance-related records as required;
    • Train, develop, mentor, direct, and discipline subordinates of the department, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, to ensure a productive, efficient, and competent workforce to meet scheduled requirements in a safe environment;
    • Provide regular constructive feedback and communication to subordinates on company policies, procedures, and work standards etc. and ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times;
    • Ensure all training within the department is completed in a timely manner and documented;
    • Coordinate with outside contractors on any facility installations and source the most effective repairs and upgrade costs;
    • Knowledgeable and in constant review of Customer Specific Requirement as applicable;
    • Ensure housekeeping inspections are conducted and all areas are tidy and organized at all times;
    • Ensure plant security;
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives on all aspects of the job;
    • Avoid all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook.

    Work Environment:

    • 95% on Plant Floor;
    • 5% in Office.

    Physical Demands:

    • Sitting;
    • Standing;
    • Walking.

    Health and Safety:

    • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures;
    • Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company.
