    Spine Surgeon Opportunity



    The Department of Surgery at St. Michael's Hospital is seeking an academically oriented neurosurgeon to join a dynamic multidisciplinary spine program.



    About the Position



    We are looking for a surgeon with fellowship training in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, with a specific focus on endoscopic spine surgical techniques. Additional expertise in spinal oncology, spinal trauma, and advanced technologies—including navigation, robotics, and biologic repair—is highly desirable.



    • This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute new expertise in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical approaches supporting the program’s emphasis on evidence-based patient-centered care.


    Your Responsibilities




    1. Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the spine service at St. Michael's Hospital;

    2. Mentor junior staff members in research projects as well as administrative tasks such as data collection & analysis; 
      Assist or lead study design development; 
      Developmental aspects including writing proposal, budget preparation­­&, letter negotiation...</u>
