Position Overview:
We are seeking responsible and attentive Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing security protocols while delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and adherence to protocols
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and any incidents
- Enforce property rules and support loss prevention efforts
- Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing visitor entry
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients and visitors
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic Security Workers License (BST)
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Good communication skills and professionalism
- Physical fitness for patrolling and responding to incidents
