We are currently looking for an afternoon shift Quality Control/Graphic Production Artist. Thisposition is responsible for producing weekly flyers and small catalogues in both print and digital platforms. Page counts can range from page flyers.

Pages and content (image, copy, art, pricing) are assembled using a variety of tools/programs and are expected to adhere to high quality standards with on-time delivery.

When your actions lead to success

  • Generate an electronic layout using Adobe InDesign and a variety of internal tools and resources;
  • Assemble digital content including images, copy and art with the use of tools, templates, guidelines/standards in an efficient, pleasing and timely manner;
  • Ensure the project is created to client specifications while controlling the quality of the completed product;
  • Prepare the document for final use in print and/or digital and generate PDFs; Collaborate with various colleagues and departments such as creative, coordinators, proofreading/QC to ensure optimum process compliance and work is of the upmost quality;
  • Using a variety of tools and checklists, take measures to ensure all tasks adhere to both client and company standards and is free of errors;
  • Once all pages are reviewed and approved, PDFs are then prepped and digitally sent to press.
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

When your expertise drives us

  • Post-Secondary education in a related field (Graphic Communication, Proofreading/English, Print Production);
  • Minimum five (5) years in a related environment;
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Fast learner, innovative thinker, team player, along with excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
