The Building Maintenance Position is responsible for maintaining the building.

They will perform a variety of duties which include:
plumbing, minor carpentry, repairs on furniture, fixtures, and equipment in common areas.

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:

Inspect, examine and troubleshoot equipment to find and investigate problems or breakdowns and to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance
Install machinery/equipment
Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete
General framing
Pulling new wire through the building for electricians and IT department
Repairing door handles, and door frames
Replace water and air filters
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Responsible for engaging in manufacturing support activities connected with the setup, installation and maintenance of production and related equipment.
Perform equipment adjustments and changeovers as required
Minor repairs and maintenance including minor carpentry, changing/replacing locks, changing, all insuite repairs and maintenance requests, fixing drywall, touch ups and painting, caulking where required, and flooring repairs, prepare and maintain office and production facility
Minor plumbing including repairs, faucet systems, sinks, for all areas, unplug toilets.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

Be comfortable performing maintenance calls independently or as part of a team
Have experience troubleshooting and diagnosing lowvoltage electrical systems
Ability to problem solve
Comfortable working in a production area (temperature, humidity, noise etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal in English
Ability to prioritize under pressure and tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to safely, effectively and efficiently operate all equipment associated with the position.

Prior Experience doing building maintenance and manual labor both indoors and outdoors

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
