About the Position
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project activity, under the direction of the Project Manager.

They ensure documentation is organized, and the flow of information is efficiently moved and controlled between all stakeholders in the project.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the development of project implementation plans and portions of the project management plan including the development of the preliminary overall project schedule.
  • Manage project documentation such as RFI's, CCN's, CO's, SI's and all Quality Control documentation. This includes ensuring their timely circulation, implementation, storage, and logging of these documents.
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination, including circulation, distribution and logging of all submittals and shop drawings.
  • Assist the project team in finding effective solutions to problems and resolve conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of project Work Package block schedules and incorporate these updates into the overall project schedule.
  • Support the monitoring and updating of the overall project schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in the development, circulation and updating of completion schedules for specific units and ensure that this information is distributed to impacted trades and departments.
  • Participate in site reviews and inspections, including audits of internal quality control documentation for accuracy and completeness with respect to the contract documents.
  • Provide site administration support to project field staff for administrative activities.
  • Collect, log and prepare all project close out documentation for turnover to the client; all warranties, maintenance and operation manuals, asbuilt drawings, commissioning and testing documentation
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Completed postsecondary education in Construction Engineering Technology, Project Management, or related academic field preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of commercial or multifamily construction experience, preference for at least one (1) year as a Project Coordinator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, and Bluebeam Revu required.
  • Experience with Procore Project Management Software preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents, and interpret building code specifications required.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, materials and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of construction scheduling and planning concepts
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • First Aid, Fall Protection Training, and other safety training is desired

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day
