    Job Description

    As a Human Resources Manager, you will be instrumental in managing our workforce needs, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Your role will support the day-to-day operations of our HR department, aiding in the development and implementation of policies that foster a safe, productive work environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the recruitment process, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
    • Manage employee relations, providing support and resolving issues to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.
    • Conduct monthly and annual inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate company events, from planning through execution.
    • Create and maintain HR documentation, such as employment letters and policy updates.
    • Liaise with various departments to support HR initiatives and respond to inquiries.

    Who You Are

    • A proactive individual with a passion for HR and a keen understanding of the construction industry's dynamics.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of handling high-pressure situations.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to decision-making.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or Occupational Health & Safety.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
    • A clean BC Driver's license with access to a vehicle.
    • Level 2 first aid certification or willingness to obtain.
