The Opportunity


Your Challenge:

  • Understand and be able to discuss with Customers, project plans, schedules and risks.
  • Support the internal project team as necessary.
  • Support and direct CWCDS teams in support of existing and future orders, including repair and warranty returns, product recalls and other activities.
  • Ensure that, for each program, the company is properly identifying potential risks and ensuring that risk avoidance is being addressed.
  • Ensure terms, conditions and scope of work are communicated and fully understood by all involved parties within CWCDS and at Customer(s) once a project is authorized.
  • Provide weekly and quarterly status reports on the health of Gold status Customers, identifying issues and risks affecting both the customer and CWCDS.
  • Work closely with functional management to realize program objectives and ensure commitments are met.
  • Act as CWCDS's representative with the customer which includes leading all meetings during contract performance, maintaining actions and meeting notes.
  • Support tradeoff decisions regarding scope, schedule and cost to maximize return for CWCDS while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the precontract award phases of assigned programs, including estimating level of effort (LOE) involved with SDRL submissions and post proposal implementation.
  • Negotiate, manage and act as formal customer interface
  • Understand all engineering activities required for all phases of design, development, qualification testing and manufacturing/production, and other duties as assigned.

Your Expertise:

  • Knowledge and practice of Principle based negotiations
  • Diversified team player with a strong customer orientation, including a winwin philosophy in dealing with customers.
  • Operates with mínimal supervision dealing on a day to day basis with the executive, peers, sales force, and customers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in Business Administration or related field is preferable.
  • Use of Microsoft products and other tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Business suite of products, Adobe, Kiteworks and SAP
  • 810 years of business experience in the field of Program management and Contract Negotiation and Administration within the Aerospace/Military environment. Good knowledge of contract law and ITAR is a benefit.
