Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers on the phone and in the Dealership promptly and courteously.
  • Handle all processing of Manufacturer warranty claims/Campaigns/Invoices, schedule service campaign appointments when applicable.
  • Correct rejected claims to ensure the maximum number of warranty claims are approved.
  • Opening work orders with all pertinent customer and machine information
  • Ensure customer accounts are in good standing before dispatching Technician to the job in the shop or field.
  • Ensure constant contact between the Service Manager, Sales/Parts departments, and the customer.
  • Identify service needs of customer vehicles based on historical service data.
  • Ask the right questions to ensure the vehicle.
- serviced is appropriately diagnosed and within the Warranty, criteria set forth by Kubota Canada and other OEMs.

  • Provide repair/maintenance recommendations when applicable.
  • Review the customer's upcoming expired Warranty for service recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with Kubota and other OEMs.' training requirements.
  • Typing and preparation of quotations, letters, and Safety docs. Etc.
  • Be creative, improve the process, utilize our operating systems, and think outside the box.

Qualifications:


  • Two or more years of experience in repair
- troubleshooting or parts with a track record of success, preferably in one of
- the following industries: agricultural equipment, motor vehicle industry,
- outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, construction equipment and
- machinery, small engines, and accessories.

  • Must be proficient in parts lookup and servicing customers at the parts counter.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have strong computer knowledge.
  • Proficient with time management skills.
  • Willingness to participate in and complete required training initiatives.

Essential Physical Requirements:


  • The ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
  • The ability to drive small and mediumsized equipment.
  • The ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.

Compensation:

The compensation package for this position will be determined based on knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The package includes a base salary, plus commissions on sales, offered quarterly.

In addition, after a three-month probationary period, employees will have access to a comprehensive benefits plan that includes life insurance.

The work hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:30-5:00 pm, at 45 Slack Road, Ottawa, Ontario, Location. Onsite parking is available.
