LCI Language School is a well established ESL school that shares a campus with our sister college, Lasalle College Vancouver and is part of the LCI Education network.

We are a Canadian-owned school known for its quality courses, supportive environment, engaging activities and professional teachers. We are currently looking for both part
- time and full time high energy and creative instructors to join our fantastic teaching team for the summer

Start Dates:
Mid May and July 2 to end of August.

Our full-time programs are 24 hours per week + 4 hours paid prep, Monday to Thursday plus a minimum of 3 hours on Fridays.

Our part time is 12 hours + 2 hours paid prep, Monday to Thursday plus a minimum of 3 hours on Fridays.

There is always an opportunity to work more hours on Fridays as well as hours after classes if you would like to lead extra curricular activities.

QUALIFICATIONS (sorry, you MUST have these to be considered):1. a Bachelor's degree
2. a TESL Canada recognized certificate or equivalent

One+ years of full-time ESL teaching experience in Canada preferably.

Additionally:

Positive attitude and enthusiasm
Creativity and a love for showing off beautiful Vancouver to our students during activities
An interest in the applied arts programs we offer at Lasalle College Vancouver is an asset as we run many workshops and activities in conjunction with the college.
Experience with teenagers
Ability to work with students from different cultures
Ability to teach various levels, from Elementary to Advanced
Ability to effectively teach and explain grammar concepts
Ability to effectively teach communication classes

LOCATION:
Renfrew Skytrain Station

CURRICULUM:

We have a core curriculum and text books that we would like you to use, as well as supplementary texts.
