Accounts Receivable Analyst, LTC to join our Finance Team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

  • Prepares accurate and on time of monthly, quarterly, and annual aged receivables reports
  • Builds relationships with Managers at sites, ensuring communications on invoicing, payment and billing are timely, clear, and consistently communicated
  • Foster a culture of customer service, reporting on key performance metrics that measure and monitor the effectiveness and service levels of the Accounts Receivable Team
  • Leads monthly collection meetings across divisions to ensure accurate collection actions are in place and legal team is aligned with collection plans.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all Accounts Receivable general ledger accounts
  • Communicates potential errors or write offs at least monthly, to the Senior Manager, Revenue and Client Accounts
  • Meets monthly with General Managers and Finance team to review status of accounts and collaborate on collection efforts

About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years prior Accounting / Accounts Receivable experience
  • Experience with Yardi software considered an asset
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
