Description

Graduate research associate positions are available at the Hybrid Biomedical Optics Laboratory (Toronto, Canada) focused on development of machine-learning based solutions for semi-automated and automated processing and analysis of images obtained from optical coherence tomography, light-sheet fluorescent microscopy, and thermo-photonic imaging platforms.

These ML solutions will mostly focus on segmentation, classification, registration, feature extraction, and pattern detection. Flexible hours can be accommodated.


Requirements:


  • MSc (or BSc with 3+ years experience) in Computer Science or Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in working with ML frameworks such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Solid programming background in Python.
  • Past experience in conventional image processing using MATLAB and ImageJ.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

  • North York, ON M3J 1P3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
