Delivery Driver - Ottawa, Canada - Rapco Equipment

Description

We are a construction supply company located in Ottawa looking for a full-time delivery driver to join our team. We are a fast-paced shop supplying the construction trades via telephone, walk-in, online and delivery.

As a Delivery Driver you will primarily be responsible for making deliveries to our customers throughout the Ottawa area in one of our full-sized pick up trucks.

This includes assisting with preparing orders, loading and unloading your truck in a safe and efficient manner and driving to various locations throughout the area.

When you are not on the road you will be expected to help with assisting our walk-in customers, picking orders, writing up sales slips, loading and unloading trucks, placing inventory on shelves and other tasks as required.

A valid G license and a clean drivers abstract are a requirement.

A good knowledge of the Ottawa - Gatineau and surrounding areas is an asset.

You must also be able to lift up to 50lbs unaided.

We offer a competitive hourly wage and also a group benefits package after 3 months of employment.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

• Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
