We are currently seeking a highly skilled
Manager, Marketing based out of our Toronto, Ontario Office.


You will use your expertise to:
(You will be responsible for performing such duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time by your Manager.)

  • Provide a weekly management update in a form of an activity tracker of your communications and marketing activities, highlighting status and areas requiring critical support from management or direction/decision for that week
  • Work with management team to align your duties with the corporate strategic growth and general objectives and business opportunities set for the year
  • Assist and represent Company with sales and marketing events as required.
  • Depending on yearly strategic goals set, the incumbent may also take leadership roles on special projects, in collaboration with the other members of management team in specific regional markets/divisions of the company within the Americas, specifically:


  • Mexico/South-West USA

  • Solar PV
  • Central and South America
  • Solar PV
  • Create yearly marketing (including CRM) and communications budget and control actuals (both in terms of overall budget and cash flow). Report monthly, quarterly, yearly to Management and Accounting/Finance to update spend to date, committed to spend and actual cash flow.
  • Assess, recommend and manage all trade associations memberships and renewals.
  • Ensure a continuous improvement philosophy is applied to managing all processes, focused on lessons learned and streamlining business development operations.
  • Increase members or "followers" on social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram (latter 2 to be developed).
  • Manage working through concepts with graphic design agencies and printing partners (where collateral is absolutely required to be printed) the creation or update and production of collateral: brochures for products and services, specifications, service request forms, proposal templates, sales tools, case studies, company key corporate materials (e.g. employees' resumes, environment, health and safety policies, manuals and statistics, quality policies, manuals and statistics, construction methodologies, etc.).
  • Continuously seek and obtain members/leads lists from associations through memberships, trade shows and webinars.
  • Support preparation of large RFP's as needed.
  • Perform market research, analysis, sizing and benchmarking studies validating optimal goto market strategy (including key customers and competitors) across primarily but not limited to 6 provinces in Canada and 15 states in the USA.
  • Benchmark competitors across the 4P's, with R&D peers on products to develop comparisons and strategies on service offering, product specifications, etc.
  • Develop and manage communication and media/Public Relations annual plan for the Company and execute press releases/announcements, CEO interviews, editorials, etc.
  • Work to position GP JOULE as a thought leader at events, with media and associations, resulting in speaking opportunities, interviews, awards, etc.
  • Continuously develop visual (photos, videos) and written content to ensure fresh and dynamic content is continuously available for different purposes and media: brochures, presentations, iPad display/sales, TV, Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Update corporate decks and presentations in MS PowerPoint and pdf format useable on phones, tablets, TV, laptops for all Products and Services.
  • Act as an internal Brand Ambassador, ensuring compliance with logo, signatures, corporate fonts, etc. to maintain professional and consistent Company image.
  • Develop solutions to increase our branding with personnel (clothing, others), customers (giveaways), and on actual solar farm (the "product"), after construction period is complete (signage on gates, engraved plaques on building/electrical boxes, UV and waterresistance stickers, etc.)
  • Work with your Manager as needed to support all commercial aspects of the US and Canadian sales channels (partners
