MAINTENANCE TECH

Working closely with both shop and field divisions, the Maintenance Tech will work out of the Red Deer, AB shop and is responsible for assisting with repairs and maintenance as needed. This is an ideal position for someone looking to get experience with mechanics, equipment such as forklifts and driving trucks.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that Fraction's core value, "We won't put anyone in harm's way" is the priority in all activities
Shop and Yard organization
Delivery and pickups; Parts Runs
Assisting with maintenance or repairs on equipment
Moving of company vehicles in and around yard
Cleaning of shop, vehicles, equipment and trailer units
Verifying returning truck inventory to driver paperwork per instructions
Assisting with overall shop paperwork

Experience & Skills:

1 2 years of related experience an asset

Grade 1

OFA Level 1 First Aid
H2S Alive
Class 5 DL with clean Drivers' Abstract
Strong Oral and Written communication
Forklift certification an asset
Proficiency with various computer systems
Ability to work well under pressure and with mínimal supervision is a must
Dependable and reliable
