Powerline Construction Labourer/operator - Grande Prairie, Canada - Rahcar Power Corp.

Description

We are looking for two highly-motivated individuals to join our team as a
Powerline Construction Labourer/Operator, based out of Grande Prairie Alberta working province wide.

You will be working with a team of talented Powerline Technicians, assisting with the construction of overhead/underground distribution lines, transmission lines, communication lines, and low-pressure gas lines.

If you demonstrate good work ethic and maintain a positive attitude, you can advance to our Apprenticeship Powerline Technician program (optional), as vacancies become available.

• Comply with company policies, ensure safe and productive completion of tasks.
• Assist with duties related to the installation and repair of overhead and underground power lines.
• Operation and general maintenance of equipment/vehicles.
• Operate manual and power tools.
• Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid class 3 driver's license.
• Strong safety focus.
• Excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills.
• Local to Grande Prairie or able to relocate prior to beginning position.
• Must be able to comfortably perform physical tasks (lifting 50 pounds, pulling cable etc) and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work out of town periodically.

• Experience operating a derrick digger truck.
