Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview:

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Lead, the Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Provides quality review and analysis of case and contact investigations for the province's immunization campaign.
  • Leads ongoing reviews of quality assurance processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Identifies where gaps in care are occurring.
  • Determines root causes and propose solutions.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of imposed changes on an ongoing basis.
  • Runs reports and audits.
  • Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Updates, implements, and maintains procedures.
  • Addresses process issues/barriers on an ongoing basis.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains streamlined processes.

Experience:


  • Experience in PHIMS preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):


  • Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration.
  • A combination of experience and advanced education may be considered.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and reliable.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to prioritize efficiently.

  • Ability to work virtually/remotely.
