Founded in 1929, Gibson's has provided thoughtful dry cleaning and laundry services to the Greater Toronto Area for over 90 years.

Gibson's is a preferred Canada Goose dry cleaner and specializes in luxury outerwear brands like Mackage, Mooseknuckles and more. Gibson's offers free pick-up and delivery services across the GTA and operates two store locations in Toronto's west-end.

We prioritize the environment and use GreenEarth, the most eco-friendly product in the marketplace, we also recycle hangers, encourage the use of re-useable garment bags, and have the goal to go no plastic by 2025.

Our goal is to help make life easier for our clients, community, and team members.

We are looking for a production worker to join our growing team


Responsibilities include:

  • Inspects each garment following the inspection checklist. If the garment does not pass inspection because of poor pressing or spots, the inspector should return the garment to the redo area.
  • Makes sure the special instructions on the eye opener or replace tags have been followed
  • Assembles items accurately but efficiently using MetalProgetti auto sorting equipment. The work environment is cool and comfortable with well maintained equipment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Follow all standards, procedures, and practices
  • Ensure that equipment is working properly and well maintained
  • Have the ability to keep work areas clean and to maximize safety amongst team
  • Participate in ongoing education and training

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
