CNC Lathe Setup/Operator
- CNC
Machining Experience:
HAAS CNC Lathe/Mill equipment experience is an asset
- Minimum relevant experience setting up and operating 2axis CNC Lathes. Setup and operation of lathes with a Y axis and live tooling also required
- Ability to read, edit and create 2 axis programs for the lathe mandatory
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Mechanical aptitude and sound knowledge of machine tooling
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
- Willingness to learn and improve your skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, working with close tolerances
- Must be selfmotivated and able to work independently
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Courtice, ON L1E 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- machinist: 1 year (preferred)
