***: In constant contact with our sales team and the Production Planning Specialists, the
Estimator is responsible for providing timely "best practice" estimates for all the product and services Lowe-Martin offers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop a strong working knowledge of the estimating software used at LMG.
Develop detailed estimating knowledge of all the production equipment/procedures used at LMG.
Maintain a working knowledge of industry trends and competitive factors affecting LMG.
Act as a resource to the sales team on complex products requiring specific knowledge.
Develop a strong knowledge of new technologies and processes

Participate in the evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors.
Support company programs designed to ensure our overall competitiveness

Assist other estimators to ensure we maintain high output levels.
Assist in providing training and orientation to new hires as well as existing personnel, focusing on the distinctive competencies being built at LMG.
Assist in the development of new product designs (i

e:
establishing rates and standards)

Assist in identifying information and resource gaps in sales and estimating departments in order to determine training needs regarding new processes and equipment.
Provide advice and recommendations on internal procedures and processes as part of a continuous improvement process.

MUST HAVES:

-
To be considered, you have a minimum of at least 3 years direct work experience in a commercial print environment or creative agency.**:

Familiarity with MIS software.
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office including MS Access, Excel and Word.
Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Adept at conducting research into projectrelated issues and products.
Customer service skills an asset.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment is crucial.
