It is a temporary contract position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week starting January 2024 until May 2024.

Responsibilities

Conduct full cycle recruitment of open craft staff to meet the needs of highvolume projects in line with the policies, procedures, standards and the hourly workflow.
Develop content for job postings in collaboration with the hiring team.
Review resumes, share with the hiring teams and conduct firstlevel phone screens confirming credentials and work experience based on site specific safety conditions and requirements.
Schedule preemployment drug and alcohol screening.
Track and mobilize active open craft personnel to new projects as required.
Work closely with the onboarding team to process hires
Update and maintain new hires and rehires employee seniority dates.
Maintain complete and accurate staffing documentation as required by law within the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
Participate in planning meetings with the business to stay current on upcoming projects and resource requirements.
Manage general employment inquiries.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in human resources, business or in a related field
RPR Designation an asset
5+ years' recruiting experience in high volume trades recruitment and salaried hires
Experience in the construction and oil and gas industries an asset
Experience using a complex ATS; Taleo an asset
Familiarity with the dynamics, operations, processes and organizational interdependencies of construction and industrial services preferred
Knowledge of sourcing, selection and staffing strategies, programs, vendors and tools
Understanding of workforcerelated federal and provincial employment laws and regulations
Experience working within an ATS system; Taleo experience an asset
Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problemsolving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills
Superior customer service orientation
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
Superior written and verbal communication skills
