- Develop and manage detailed project timelines and workflows for the creation, consultation, and filing of AESO ADs, including ISO rules, the ISO tariff, and Alberta reliability standards.
- Act as the primary contact for internal teams regarding AD processes and information document updates.
- Prepare correspondence, documentation, and email communications for stakeholders and internal clients, in collaboration with Regulatory Analysts and Legal Counsel.
- Manage the AD Question process, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) proceedings related to AESO ADs, including scheduling, facility bookings, and hearing logistics.
- Monitor, summarize, and distribute relevant AUC documents and external regulatory submissions.
- Track deadlines and manage filings associated with AESO regulatory submissions.
- Maintain accurate records through SharePoint Online in accordance with AESO records management policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory processes, templates, tools, and training materials related to ADs.
- Support Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) request processes.
- Organize stakeholder engagement activities and working groups related to AESO ADs.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with AESO business units and subject matter experts.
- Provide support to fellow Regulatory Administrators, Contract Coordinators, and the broader Law team as required.
- 2-4 years of experience working with regulatory or legal processes, ideally in a regulated utility, law firm, or related environment.
- Diploma or Degree in a related field.
- Training or experience as a paralegal or senior legal assistant is an asset.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with document management tools, such as SharePoint, and publication tools would be an asset.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with AUC filings and processes is an asset.

Job Description
Reporting to the Legal Manager, Reliability and Operations, the Regulatory Administrator contributes to the AESO's Law team by supporting the drafting, review, and filing of Authoritative Documents, organizing stakeholder engagement and working groups, managing regulatory proceedings, and carrying out other activities that advance the AESO's public‑interest mandate and serve industry participants and Albertans.
The Regulatory Administrator works collaboratively as part of the Law team to achieve the AESO's strategic and business goals, ensure compliance with the AESO's public interest mandate and regulatory legal obligations, and assist with proactively mitigating risk and preventing legal liability.
